Hi I’m Kate!

Mum of 2 boys and a Benny dog, married to a Navy lad (I’m not allowed to call him a sailor, he’s a diver…!), SENDCO & Primary teacher by trade, and finally pursuing my dream to launch a creative business around the chaos that is mum-life, so here goes!

I’ve always loved sewing and creating handmade thoughtful gifts - I am secretly very sentimental - even more so after having had children! So here we are now, in my workshop in Titchfield (Hampshire) with ‘The Bobbin Owl’ making keepsake bears, animals and sweatshirts. As well as a range of sweatshirts to celebrate family (I am ALL for the matching!), the little people, and well - life!

Using Organic and Recycled products is something that was important to me, as not only does that help us do our bit for the environment but it also makes the jumpers incredibly soft and beautiful quality. Trust me I tried a lot!
